Sorry for being latE to respond to the article you have suggested.

It’s hard to claim that the BBC can be 100% objective as there are incidences in which an event is heavily seen from one side rather than two sides. From the debates, for example, on BBC WHYS, there is a leaning that Mugabe is a faulty politician. The BBC taking advantage of being banned from reporting from inside Zimbabwe to have more interviews with his opponents. When it comes to the Olympics in China, more voice was given to those opposing their organisation there.

The BBC however HAS the advantage of being more informative than other news websites, as long as political news is set aside.

There are even “allegations” that the BBC staff has more leaning to the labour party. If that is the case it’s hard to consider that it can be totally neutral and maybe it is that leaning that has kept the labour in power for more than a decade now.

As you know when it comes to the news, one shouldn’t seek one’s eggs from the same basket. The BBC is a huge information machine. But the recipient of its news should know how to deal with it intelligently, not to be just a parrot repeating merely what was said and claiming to hold the truth. The truth is always somewhere. None of us can be totally sure unless we have direct access to secret files and are the real decision makers.

The BBC slogan is to “entertain, inform and educate”. At best one should just take the entertaining side and leave the rest altogether.

Why do I prefer the BBC, it is simply because itlooks the best when compared with other news organisations. Currently I can’t replace it with any other as the most favourite.Abdelilah Boukilihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01991126759703627862noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-29783423.post-53864694771111050492008-04-12T22:22:00.000+00:002008-04-12T22:22:00.000+00:00Thanks Hisham for the tip! Thanks Hisham for the tip!Abdelilah Boukilihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01991126759703627862noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-29783423.post-4778971995033416482008-04-12T10:30:00.000+00:002008-04-12T10:30:00.000+00:00Hi Abdelilah!I'd be interested in your comment on ...Hi Abdelilah!
I'd be interested in your comment on this article:

http://www.zcommunications.org/znet/viewArticle/17123

Goog reading!Hishamhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07303451078690636594noreply@blogger.com
